Terms of Use

By using Cocktella you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Cocktella (the "app") is operated by Peyo Peev ("we", "us"), an independent developer based in Bulgaria.
1. The app
Cocktella is a cocktail recipe and home-bar app. The recipe catalog is provided for inspiration and personal use. You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute the catalog or the app's content.
2. Legal drinking age & responsible drinking
Cocktella is intended only for people of legal drinking age in their country. Recipes involve alcohol; consume responsibly. Never drink and drive. Nothing in the app is medical or dietary advice, and you prepare and consume drinks at your own risk.
3. Accounts
An account is optional and only needed for cloud sync and community features. You can create one with email, or with Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from Profile → "Delete all my data".
4. Your content
Recipes, ratings, reviews, and photos you publish remain yours. By publishing content to the community you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it in the app, so other users can see it. Unpublishing or deleting your content ends that display.
5. Community rules — zero tolerance for abuse
Community features are governed by the community guidelines, which you accept in the app before your first post. In short:
- Be kind — critique the cocktail, never the person; no harassment, insults, or personal attacks
- No spam or ads — no promotion of products, venues, or services
- Original content or credit — don't pass off others' protected work as your own
- Keep it appropriate — no offensive, hateful, explicit, or otherwise objectionable content anywhere (names, instructions, images, reviews)
- Drink responsibly — no content encouraging dangerous drinking or targeting people under legal drinking age
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report any recipe or review and block any member (their content disappears for you immediately). Our moderators review reports and may hide or remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules — including removing publishing rights permanently for repeat or serious violations.
6. What you may not do
- Break the law or infringe others' rights through the app
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or our systems
- Interfere with the operation of the service (e.g. flooding, automated abuse)
7. Availability & changes
Cocktella is provided "as is" and is currently free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features, and we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability of cloud features. Your on-device data keeps working even when cloud services are unavailable.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes relating to the app or these terms will be subject to the courts of Bulgaria. This does not deprive you of any protection you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll note it in the app's release notes and update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
